My recent stay at Ivalo River Camping was a pleasant mix of simplicity and comfort. The cottage, though basic, was clean and cozy, providing a fridge and essential kitchen amenities. The proximity to the river offered a unique sauna experience followed by a refreshing dip in the water—a true Nordic delight. The staff's friendliness and local tips added a personal touch to our stay. While the bathroom was a bit of a trek from the cabin, and on the smaller side, the breathtaking view of the aurora borealis made up for any inconveniences.
